MRS ISHWAR LOOND SH VASDEV LOOND

1. Born on 4th Nov 1932 in Lehia, Dstt. Muzaffargarh, Division Multan, Pakistan
2. In Pakistan before partition, studied upto 10th
3. Had been monitor of the class and had been on scholarship all through
4. During studies, had been assisting my father in sewing machines repairs.
5. Migrated to India in 1948, passed matriculation from Jallandhar in Punjab in 1948
6. Came to Delhi in 1949 in search of a job, meantime due to retrenchment in govt. offices. and finding no job, jointed Kishan Mazdoor office in Bara Hindu Rao, Delhi at Rs20 per month.
7. Passed railway exam as a typist, got promoted to stenographer, worked in Baroda House, New Delhi
8. Passed UPSC exam as stenographer while working in railways.
9. Joined Handicrafts Board at Janpath, New Delhi.
10. During serving as stenographer passed MBA exam in 1963, thus all exams passed from matriculation to MA, MBA while in in service .
11. Was sent by HHEC in 1967 to conduct sales in Expo 67 in Montreal and therefrom was sent to Paris in December 1967 on deputation.
12. On expiry of deputation, was called back to India and was posted as Incharge of HHEC office for handicrafts in 1971, wherefrom resigned and returned to Paris in 1971.
13. Worked for a year or so with Mohanjeet to attend to her import business of garments.
14. in 1974 worked as agent for Indian exporters for a year or so and then turned up as importer and as such established garment store in Paris in the name of ISHWAR (Paris). It turned out as a very well known brand in France as also in India.
15. In 1991 returned to India, established 3 garment factories to do production and export.
16. Retired in 2015, establish cost free marriage bureau, titled Marriage Guidance New Concept which continues at present, and is planned for expansion through franchise etc.
17. Have authored about 15 books on marriage, family issues, life how it is to be spent, and how various problems need to be solved etc.
18. In short, VasDev’s career starts as a mechanic, runs into working as an official, rose up to act as Manager.in HHEC, hereafter worked as an entrepreneur and after retirement engaged in running a cost free marriage bureau, lastly happens to be an author, to sum up, Vasdev's life can be categorized a MULTFARIOUS one.
